NEWYORK CITY MERCS TO COVER HANK RAY'S BAKERSFIELD TUNE "WALK THE STREETS ALONE "(KENNY’S SONG)
This is a sad song with MONACHE MEADOWS IN IT.

The dirtiest, filthiest,
nastiest, greasiest
rock and roll
band in NYC to cover Hank Ray's " Kenny's Song" (Walk These Streets Alone) -NOW ON BAKOTUNES "2" thanks to Matt M.-
Mercs: " I 'll listen to anything you
put out. I dig what you do.
We play covers with a " Mercs "
spin on it. I'd like to here
the new tune. I would like to
cover " Walk the streets alone "
live at our shows.
If you wrote that for your
brother's funeral then, he left
this world with a good send off.
May the Lord rest his soul.
That tune has moved me as much
as any tune that I have heard
on myspace, and I have listened
to a million songs. You jump to my
front page with that song.
All the best,
RM" (The Merc's)

From the streets of New York City comes the grittiest, dirtiest, rockin' and rollin' band around!

THE MERC'S are fronted by guitarist, singer , song writer Richard Mangogna's super aggressive style. Richard says, " THE MERC'S music is here for people to have a good time. We want you to smile, move your body, and sing along. No whiny politics here. If you want that, turn on CNN or Fox News. We are here to get you away from that . Let's take the paint off the wall ."

Richard is backed up by Danny "Freight Train " O'Malley, Eric "Bluesman" Braverman, and Lou "The Machine " Ortega. Just listen to these guys play and let the music do the talking".

Mangogna is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Boston. During his tenure he studied alongside fellow students Melissa Etheridge, Steve Vai and Aimee Mann, to name a few!

In 1993, Mangogna starred in the New Line Cinema film "Amongst Friends"which was directed by Rob Weiss. Just google his name and you will discover a number of Hollywood website references!

His song on the new "Good Time Man" CD "I'm not alone" is about a policeman who is trapped in the World Trade Center on 9/11 and makes his peace with God. The Merc's debut album "Good Time Man" is comprised of 13 tracks and is dedicated to fallen officers Moira Smith, Robert Fazio and Brian McDonnell.

"Good Time Man" is available at select retail stores. We are in the process of getting set-up at Amazon.com and iTunes. You can purchase our new CD online at our secure shopping cart: http://www.mercsmusic.com/c...CLICKHERE
