KENNY’S SONG ( by Hank Ray)
We ran off to Minnesota to work on the family farm.
We worked hard from dusk til dawn –parked the Camero on the lawn
That was our time in heaven – til the angles called you home ,
That was our time in heaven, now I walk these streets alone.
Now I walk these streets alone.
We went up to Monache Meadows – on the south fork of the Kern.
We started a camp fire – just to watch the pine cones burn.
That was our time in heaven – til the angles called you home ,
That was our time in heaven, now I walk these streets alone.
Now I walk these streets alone.
We drove up to San Luis Obispo- but your radiator .
We fell in love with the same cowgirls- you punched me in my nose.
That was our time in heaven – til the angles called you home ,
That was our time in heaven, now I walk these streets alone.
Now I walk these streets alone.
